THis week in science, October 4th

This week in science i felt we learned two major things..
One: I think one major one was that we spent the whole first week of science working on thr reflections of light toff of objects. We realized that in order to see and object the light must have to reflect off of it. Some notes we took on reflectiveness were:
Surfaces DID vary in reflectiveness
"Shiny" surfaces reflect better
reflection=more reflective
*glass* reflects off AND goes through-> dispersed
rough surfaces spread out
certain colors were brighter-> light colors-> black/dark colors absorb more light
We also tested the reflectiveness of these things by looking at an object, shining a light on it and seeing how much of a reflection we got out of it.

The other major part of this week in science is that we came up with when we shine a light on a mirror it SHOULD reflect off in the same angle. Angle "A" and Angle "B" is what we called them.
So once again we tested this idea.
We were generally corrrect. We occasionally had 1 degrees off becuas ei doubt we could get it completely perfect with just a protractor and a mirror but generally, i think our hypothesis was correct.
So, therefor if we shine the laser on the mirror, creating angle A, it will reflect and form angle B which the two will always be equal.
